Chain of Giving
Annual fundraising event sponsored by the Chain of Lakes Rotary Club
In each year around April, the Chain of Lakes Rotary Club holds the Chain of Giving fundraiser. Each year, we partner with a local organization that could use our financial help. This annual event started in 2012 by partnering with the Lino Lakes Police to help raise money for a new K9 police dog.
We partnered with the YMCA and Camp Heritage to provide funding for kids to attend the camp who otherwise could not afford it.
In 2014 we partnered with Centennial HS’s Peer Leadership program which tries to bring together tomorrow’s leaders from a variety of groups within the High School.
In 2015 we partnered with the Yellow Ribbon Society of Hugo.
In 2016, we set a fundraising record by partnering with Centennial Middle School and Centennial High School – by establishing an ANGEL FUND to help pay the activity fees for underprivileged students.
In 2017 we again set a fundraising record; partnering with the Lino Lakes YMCA to pay for youth activities and again partnered with Centennial schools’ ANGEL FUND.
In 2018 we partnered with the Anoka County Library, Centennial Branch to create a smart kitchen and again partnered with Centennial schools’ ANGEL FUND.
We look forward to this event each year and with the support of friends, family, businesses and the community – look to grow the Chain of Giving each and every year. If you would like to learn more about this event and the Chain of Lakes Rotary please contact us.
