Who We Are
Meet the Members of the Chain of Lakes Rotary Club
I have been involved with Rotary for 15 years. I joined because I wanted to get involved with community issues and network with local professionals. I continue my involvement with Rotary because it is fun and very fulfilling personally.
Principal and Senior Project Manager at WSB & Associates. Civil Engineering
Centennial High School Principal
As an educator in the Centennial district since 2001, I am excited to serve our community and children as a Rotarian. Through the Rotarian motto “Service Above Self,” we can create opportunities and make a positive impact on our community.[/text_output]
MSA, SMW Financial Credit Union
I have a lot of love, drive and determination. Joining the Rotary is a great opportunity to give all my efforts, to helping others and be a part of something so extraordinary.[/text_output]
I had the privilege of serving as a Rotarian previously and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service before self motto is something I deeply believe in and live each day as an educator. I look forward to partnering with community leaders to provide support and services for our communities. [/text_output]
I help with the Chain of Lakes Rotary website and share our Club’s wonderful public service projects. Although new to the Club, I had the honor of being a Rotary exchange student to Nagasaki during my senior year in High School. Having clients on both coasts and in Europe allows me to visit other Rotary clubs as the informal Chain of Lakes Rotary ambassador.
Owner, Fitzpatrick Translational Science, Inc.
My role at SMW Federal Credit Union (my employer) is to build a community presence and ultimately to grow our membership. That was my original intention in joining the Rotary. In the 4 years I have participated in Rotary my respect for the people and the philosophy of making the world a better place has grown into a passionate commitment to this club. They are an extraordinary group!
Wednesday mornings would not be the same without the camaraderie of Rotary. I have been a member since 2010, having been President during 2013-2014, when the Chain of Lakes Rotary officially chartered with Rotary International. I am an independent contractor with Advantage Townhome Management, Inc. The opportunity to make an impact in the community while having fun is why I joined the Chain of Lakes Rotary Club.
I co-coordinate the STRIVE program for the past four years. Co-chair the annual Chain of Giving dinner and help with the 5K Run each summer. Meetings are held at my workplace each week so I coordinate the facilities and food. STRIVE is my favorite because we are making a difference in the kids lives.
I have a passion to be a part of the community I live in and I try and make a positive difference in the people’s lives around me. I joined the Chain of Lakes Rotary because the values, mission and goals of the organization a line well with my personal core values.[/text_output]

I am, and always have been, a big believer in being involved and engaged…especially in your own community. I’m a new member of the Rotary, and I’m looking forward to staying involved in the community and it’s projects, especially the school programs. I grew up in a small Iowa town, where the local Rotary did GREAT work. It’s my turn now.[/text_output]
President, STRIVE Volunteer. Rotary is important to me because it gives me a link to volunteering and a way to give back and improve the lives of the people in my community
I am the current Secretary and past President of the Chain of Lakes Rotary Club. My interest in Rotary was founded by my father, who was a Rotarian most of his adult life! I own a management consultancy firm in the Twin Cities.[/text_output]
I currently serve as co-treasurer and help oversee the club’s budget and finances. I am also a STRIVE mentor. I really enjoy being a rotary member as it allows me an opportunity to give back to my local community and support local organizations that I care about. Being originally from the Lino Lakes area and a past CHS alumni it’s been fun for me to participate in STRIVE program and mentor new CHS senior students each year. I also enjoy volunteering with the Blue Heron 5K and seeing that event really grow over the last few years. That event has helped us develop a really strong partnership with our local YMCA. All in all, we have a great group of members that really care about the community!
Occupation: Certified Financial Planner for Thrivent Financial (Edgewater Team).[/text_output]
Branch Director, The Y in Lino Lakes
I joined Rotary because it gives me an opportunity to connect with others who share my desire to make our community the strongest it can be for all who work, live, and play here. I recently moved to Columbus and began working as the Branch Director at the Y in Lino Lakes so I am excited to join others and help make a difference in the place we now call home![/text_output]
I am the city administrator for Chisago Lakes, Minnesota. I have been involved with the Chisago Lakes Rotary Club prior to being a founding member of the Chain of Lakes Rotary Club
I believe in the service beyond self philosophy. In a world where it is easy to self-serve, it just feels good to be involved with an amazing organization that is simply there to make a difference for others. Besides the fun and friendly atmosphere, I continue to go to the weekly meetings as a commitment to the community I live and work in.
Owner of True Service Plumbing
I wanted to become more involved in the area I grew up in and work, so joining the Chain of Lakes Rotary Club was an easy decision. Rotary is built on the highest ethical standards and is comprised of wonderful professionals, whose goals are to work together, making Lino Lakes a wonderful place to live and work. I am honored to be one of the Chain of Lakes Rotary Clubs’ newest member![/text_output]

I am a Public Relations and active STRIVE Mentor. Rotary is important to me because I think it is imperative to serve the community that you live/work in, and that is what Rotary does; both in the Quad area, as well as internationally.
I’m involved in Rotary because I would like to make a difference in the community. I’m currently the President of the Centennial Youth Football Association. I want help build a community bond and would like to see our parks in the community grow and continue to improve. I also get involved in our events and would like to continue to grow Rotary functions and increase participation in Rotary and get the word out about all the good things they do.
